These characters gave us stories to project our hopes, fears, and expectations onto. But now, AI agents – the systems built on LLMs that complete tasks autonomously – aren’t fiction. They’re real. And they’re here to help. They schedule meetings, re-order groceries, book flights, shop for shoes, and recommend the “best” anything.
