A powerful network infrastructure has long been the foundation for innovation and transformation within the government enterprise. As agencies transition to remote data centers, it’s critical they have reliable connectivity to applications and resources. At the same time, emerging technologies like IoT and rising security threats are putting new pressures on government networks for IT leaders and citizens alike. To better understand government network needs and priorities, the Center for Digital Government surveyed more than 300 state and local public sector officials and interviewed 12 additional IT decision-makers
