After a strong financial performance, firms reported a 2.1% net revenue growth compared to 5.1% a year ago. Large firms continued to forecast gains, while small and medium-sized businesses were more conservative, forecasting declines and smaller gains respectively. Although the overall forecast percentage appears lower, firms reported they expected their position to grow in many markets coming into the year. With an election year and unknown economic impact of the pandemic, companies will need to be more disciplined and focused in their business development efforts to thrive.
