Business email compromise (BEC), account takeover, advanced phishing and supply chain attacks continue to jeopardize global organizations, despite their existing Microsoft 365 email security solutions.

This comes as no surprise. In recent years, many of the world’s biggest organizations have migrated to the cloud to enable hybrid and remote work. With Microsoft 365 as a key collaboration partner, it has become a prime target for attackers at a time when cybercrime is more advanced than ever.

During the past several years, the cyber attack chain— and the cybersecurity landscape as a whole— has seen major developments on several fronts. And while Microsoft has a host of native email security capabilities, they’re simply no match for this rapidly shifting environment. In a recent study, Microsoft products and services occupied four of the top five positions for abused brands across all threats.
